Missing Artifact Instance
Cause
Missing Artifact Instance error is generated when the image no longer has access to a version of an artifact referenced in either layers or sections. This can be a result if the artifact instance was deleted, never published with a matching qualifier or the hardware has been updated to a qualifier that the artifact version does not support.
Effect
Image with missing artifact instance error blocks running, installation, or release creation until the error is fixed.
Resolution
Ensure your image references the correct artifact for the device you plan to use the image on.

If the error is related to the published artifact, please contact your KOS admin to make sure the required artifact instance is published.
