Missing Artifact

Cause

Missing artifact error is generated when one of the referenced market or published artifacts is no longer available to consume via sections or layers. This usually happens if the referenced artifact is deleted via Artifact Management.

Effect

Image with missing artifact error blocks running, installation or release creation until the error is fixed.

Resolution

There are multiple options to resolve this issue:

  1. If the Section or Layer still requires this artifact for the image to work, contact your KOS Studio Admin to find out how this Artifact can be re-built.

  2. If the artifact was removed because it is no longer required, you can resolve this issue by removing the reference to it under Sections or Layers.
