In the 1.5.0 release, we changed how users are managed. Users are an integral part of the KOS Studio, and by bringing them to the forefront of the experience, and enabling them to transition between organizations, KOS has increased the opportunity for collaborative work.
In this version of KOS Studio, users can now alternate between projects, and organizations, bringing their expertise to individual projects within various organizations. A manager no longer needs to worry about the privacy of specific projects when inviting a user in their organization.
This change added functionality to the user management tool, the projects management tool, and the main navigation. Users now have an account settings option to change their username and update their own password.
This workflow also changed the internal global admin tool enabling a global admin-User to change the status both globally and within a specific organization.
On top of this we have simplified the password process enabling users to reset their own passwords, both within the application and in the unfortunate incident when they forget their password all together.
We have clarified the steps for a new user, giving them clearer directions on how to start the application and where to get initial tokens.
