These changes were made to KOS Studio.
This version was released Monday, August 28, 2023.
Can now customize the features and capabilities of an image.
In future releases it will be possible to add or remove capabilities or features to change the release behaviour or limit the size of the downloaded image. For example, it will be possible to optionally add or remove the KOS Developer Tools layer when configuring an image, which could significantly reduce the time required to download and install images.
The built-in file picker (used when selecting local artifacts) has enhanced navigation and improved usability.
Improved connection and state logic that more accurately reflects an image’s current running status.
Better support during unexpected start up conditions.
The list of available tools for a running image now only includes those relevant to the image.
For images running the Temporary Freestyle App (TFA), the ingredient assignment tool now automatically detects TFA and only interacts with the TFA endpoints.
Under the hood support for future tools now supports custom or per-image tooling; used in future releases.
