How I got started.

I started designing web pages for fun when I was 14, reading small forums about CSS and design I started to pick up skills, in 1 month I found something that I loved, web development. Started designing funny pages with memes and gifs now I make pages for companies and business professionals.

I graduated from high school when I was 16 years old receiving my diploma, the first thing I could think of is how much time I get to spend now on designing websites for people. When I first started KosDev and doing work for people I learned really fast how hard the work was but after 1 year I'm still here and I'm still designing.

My story of marketing,

When I was 12 years old I was diagnosed with a ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, when I finished treatment in the end of 2014 after almost 3 years of being there I wanted to do make something of my own and later I started KosDev, St. Jude taught me the importance of marketing, without their marketing strategy there wouldn’t have been any money to pay doctors, get medication, and build the hospital bigger every year to help save children. If you ever need a good example of why marketing is important, St. Jude is a perfect way to prove through marketing big goals can be achieved and great things can happen. The marketing team at St. Jude gets enough donations to cover up to 74% of the hospital’s budget each year because of what they do. When I get a customer I always think about what I can do for them, like making things better for their business and themselves.

Why I like web design

I started doing C# when I first got into programming and I did not like it at all. I wanted to do something graphical and colorful, when I first got into HTML/CSS I freaked out a little the entire first 3 months everything I made was complete trash. I learned everything from frameworks, responsive design, and javascript animations. Majority of where I got started was from codeacademy.com and downloading books online. I kept learning more and trying so hard to improve design, it’s why I like web design because of the constant learning and thinking that goes into. Web design isn’t a basic task, it’s a process of trial and error.
